Excerpt: I stand and stare at her. Again, the ability to form words seems to escape me as I drown in her green eyes. Slowly and with extreme caution, Phoenix stretches her arm out and runs her fingers along my chest, just over my tattoo. Excerpt: The sight before me was terrifying. “Sicily!” I yelled as I tried to see her in the wreckage. There were pieces of metal as far as I could see. The fuselage had been completely ripped apart. The nose and cockpit area lie upside down about forty yards to my left. The main part of the plane was torn in so many pieces that there were not any clear sections left. The rear of the plane still contained part of the tail. It was stuck at the top of two large trees. Between the nose and the tail and everywhere around the area, I could see seats, insulation, luggage, food …, and bodies. There were so many bodies. Oh God! No one was moving.
